Mental Health!
Mental health is extremely important some say it matters more than your physical health! (Even though both are equally important!) To help you on having better mental health here are some tips & tricks that you might want to use.
STOP! - Burnout is a terrible thing to experience, so make sure to take a break every once in a while
Technology! - Being hours on end on any sort of screen is not good. So make sure to take a break of at least 10 minutes every once in a while. Personally, I do one hour on tech, and an hour on break when I get the opportunity.
PEOPLE! - Always being alone is not a good thing, so make sure you go out, socialize, and have fun!
Music! - Playing an instrument has constantly been shown to have mental health benefits! So go out and learn an instrument even if it's as simple as a kazoo or as complex as a oboe. Make sure you take some time to learn an instrument!
Procrastination
Procrastination is not good and here is what the Bored Bot has to say about this.
"Procrastination can have many harmful effects. It can lead to missed deadlines at work or school, which can affect your grades or your performance reviews. It can lead to a feeling of guilt and stress, which can be mentally and physically unhealthy. It can affect relationships with friends and family, as you might be too busy to spend time with them. Ultimately, procrastination can lead to a feeling of underachievement, which can be very mentally draining."
-Negative effects of procrastination-
1. Missed deadlines, leading to reduced performance
2. Feelings of guilt and stress, leading to anxiety and depression
3. Neglecting important relationships with loved ones
4. Feeling of underachievement, leading to low confidence and self-esteem
5. Potential loss of opportunities due to delayed action
6. Delaying self-development, leading to stagnation and feeling stuck.
